Practically every WMP is designed to play AVI files, right? Well, just a few days ago, my Windows Media Player 11 suddenly stopped recognizing Windows video files (avi). And now every time I try to play an AVI file, I get error message C00D11B1.

How am I supposed to fix this? And NO, I DO NOT want to and NEVER WILL use VLC media player or Media Player Classic, because that annoys me a lot.
