I wasn't sure where this should go, but I am in need of some help with Photodex ProShow. I am using Producer 4.0 but I think that this question would apply to Gold as well.

I have started doing some media work with my church and they use this software. Recently, the former Pastor passed away and I was working on a slideshow which has become typical of modern funerals. I tried and tried to get the program to let me do what I wanted, but was unsuccessful. It wasn't a show stopper, so I went on without it. But, it's bugged me ever since (I'm not the type of person to just give up and let a program dictate what I can and cannot do) so I turn to you for help.

Here's what I wanted...I wanted a Title slide that begins with a headshot of an eagle (which I have). I have also created some nice text images in Photoshop (I LOVE that ProShow will use Photoshop files!). The text images I have are "Name", "Born", "Date of Birth", "Passed", "Date of Death." I wanted the slide to start with just the Eagle, then have the Name fade in, then the word Born, then the Date of Birth, then Passed, then Date of Death. I wanted to be able to control when the layer came up on the slide, and also the speed at which it did so. I might have even added some slight pan movement to those layers.

Anyway, is there a way to do this, to control the timing of the layers? The closes thing I got was adjust the layer opacity at the beginning and end of the slide, but then if the slide is up for 20 seconds, it distributed that slow adjustment over the entire slide. What if I wanted just like 3 seconds of the Eagle, then have the text images fade in to full opacity over a couple of seconds, and then the entire slide remain up for another 10 seconds?

Can someone point me in the right direction? Is there a resident ProShow expert?

Thanks!
