You would not regain any of the image behind that interference.

My suggestion is that you use a crop filter to remove the entire edge where it interferes. You could then re-size that image back to the original width. The image will be a little stretched but should not be too bad.

VirtualDub used 'Uncompressed' as the default under the Video/Compression menu.

To get a smaller file size you will have to select a different compression - the ones available to you will appear in the compression list.

eliqush - Stop using IM slang. Your English is very weak and trying to be cool with stuff like "10x" is really just making you look like an idiot. I can't take you seriously if you insist on saying "10x" and "which 1 2 choose".

You need to improve your English a lot if you want to talk like some damn IM punk here. That first post was horrible.

If you have Xvid installed, choose it. If you don't have Xvid installed, choose MJPEG. And if you say "10x" to this, then you are a complete loser.

  9. Since your video is interlaced use the Fill filter to cover the noise with black. What compression codec you choose depends on what you plan to do with the video. Make a regular movie DVD? Make a Divx file? Something else?
