When I am attempting to convert multiple clips from AVI to DV, FFMpegx converts the first one then fails all the rest. Restarting the program is the only remedy I have found.

Anyone know what is going on, and/or how to fix it?

You need to re-set the conversion settings (the DV preset) for each file, after opening a new source file. Tedious, but that is the way the program currently operates. Could that be it?

Or try EmmGunn's Quick Batcher for batch processing with ffmpegX.

Thank you for the reply Case!

Yes, you are correct. When I import a new mp4 it changes the aspect ratios of the DV preset.
However, I would like to keep the same aspect ratio and resolution as I shot in 720p. When I attempt to manually set the video size to match 1280x720 it fails.

There is something wrong with this failure. I am guessing.

    Thoughts?

DV (NTSC) is always 720x480, for both 4:3 and 16:9.
1280x720 is not a valid DV resolution. If you want to keep it 1280x720, then you shouldn't convert to DV.
