  1. I have a question for those folks that have a WinTV (or other TV tuner card) and a graphics card with TV out capabilities.

When you are using your TV tuner card, does that TV output also come out of the TV out on the graphcs card?

I want to capture the output from my TV tuner card through my Dazzle DVC2 and my Sony DVMC-DA1 media converter, depending on my needs.

Say I bought a GeForce2 MX400 with TV out capabilities. I switch the TV tuner to TNN to watch a Star Trek episode. I hook the TV out from my GeForce card to my Dazzle DVC2. Can I now use the DVC2 to capture the Star Trek episode?

    Thanks in advance...

  2. Dang man....Sounds like your making it WAY harder than it needs to be.

Here's how I capture those Star Trek episodes off TNN.....I have my cable TV line running into my VCR which is sitting right next to my computer. Then I run the RCA Video Out line from the VCR right into my WinTV capture card in the computer, and I run the RCA Audio Out line from the VCR right into my sound card in the computer also.....no problems, and great VCD's as a result.

Maybe I'm not completely understanding your set up...but I know mine works and is real simple.
