Didn't work with dvdshrink, or dvddecrypter. dvdfab made a "movie only" that works but full disk mode doesn't work. Internet explorer shows 12 VTS's on original DVD, each with 9 VOB's totalling appr. 79 Gb's.

I've never seen, or heard about such a copy protection scheme.

    Any suggestions?

  2. It's very common to have multiple directory entries refer to the same data to make the contents look bigger.

It's not copy protection. You may find that there are nine different credit sequences, each in a different language. Depending on how the disc has been authored to branch to these, it could well appear to be 9 titles, all the same length. Star Wars did this, as do many other others.

If you want to do a full disc, copy the results to an ISO, instead of folder, then burn with with Imburn. If you go down the ISO path then you don't have to worry about the titles and structure.

I used dvdremakepro to change commands in IFO's to go from "play first" directly to VTS_1 menu. Works now.

    But thanx for the answers.

Ripped with anydvd, dvdshrink to reduce size (iso file), then burn with imgburn. Copy plays back fine.
