    In both VirtualDub and CamStudio (and presumably other programs of mine) the list of codecs offered in their drop-downs contain two identical entries for the Morgan codec. Here's the Camstudio list:



    I checked both configurations and they too are identical:



    So are the details under About > Register. I find the subject of codecs bewildering enough already, so in the interests of tidiness how can I remove the duplicate please?

    It has two entries as it will decode videos encoded with the FourCCs (see glossary) dmb1 (Matrox-MJPEG) and mjpg. Do not delete, leave them alone.
