  1. I sometimes use Rapidshare to download large files that are split into several 100mb pieces. The Rapidshare website makes a point of saying that if you want to download several files simultaneously (useful for faster overall download), you must pay for a Premium account. But on another part of their website, they say:
The RapidShare Manager (RSM) makes it easy to upload and allows multiple downloads at the same time. You can resume interrupted uploads and downloads...
I am confused about this Rapidshare Manager. Why would they say they are charging for multiple downloads, and then say you can get free multiple downloads if you use (free) Rapidshare Manager? Does anybody have any experience using Rapidshare Manager? Does it really allow multiple downloads?

I haven't used it, but I'm sure what they mean is that the Manager is free; and that IF you have a premium account it will help you do multiple downloads.
Otherwise it just works as an uploader.

  3. Hi

Exactly as AlanHK said, all it really is, is a download manager, you could use any e.g. IDM, Orbit Downloader etc, you still need a rapidshare account to be able to download unlimited/unrestricted files
