    Hello,

    I am doing experiments and need to convert some video only. Can you some one please point me in the right direction. If you can provide a step by step that would be great.

    I need it converted to this exactly. I tried it in Vegas but it will not let me change the frame Rate.

  2. from an HDV source vegas can come close using the mainconcept avc encoder. the only thing it doesn't have is a baseline@2.1 setting - the lowest it will go is baseline@3.1 as for the framerate it allows 15fps without any problem. did you have the "allow source to adjust framerate" checked?

    here's a sample. use mediainfo to check it's specs.

  3. mediacoder can produce the specs you want, even the baseline@2.1

    thanks for the information, but as mentioned in Vegas i cannot get down to baseline@2.1 do maybe have a step by step. Alos how do I extract the audio and video with an m2t file. Tsmuxer will not read this file. Thanks again.

    right vegas can't do it.

    what is the source video from?

    mediacoder can. import the video. set video/format to h264. set encoder to x264. set profile to baseline. set level to 2.1. set your audio. in the "picture" tab, check resize and set it to 1280x720. check frame rate and set it to 15.

    thx I will give it a shot. The video is a test video for a HW decoder that only works if the specs are met.
