I captured some shows the other day and I decided to do them as variable bit rate instead of constant in MMC 7.5. I got a great capture but when it came time to edit, neither of the progs i used (m2-edit pro, vcdcutter) would do them. Does anyone know why they don't like VBR as opposed to CBR? Anyone know how to edit VBR files easily (no re-encoding)? Any help is always appreciated!!!
Thanks in advance!
P.S. When i set the bit rate setting to 2.72mb/s with VBR is that the average, the low, or the high in MMC 7.5? Just curious.
