region code assistance with the sony dvp-ns700h DVD PLAYER

I currently have a sony dvd player= dvp ns700h. However it's a region 1, I tried to use the steps for the sony dvp ns700v & dvp ns700v. There was no change. can somebody please help. I am trying to make it a region 0. I would greatly appreaciate it, thanks!

I tried that already. that's why I ended up placing two posts, if you read them you'll see that I entered the same model number twice in my first request for help. the second post has the correct model numbers (dvp-ns700p & dvp-ns700v) I attempted to trouble shoot with.
