I have made several SVCD's at 2496kbs. The play fine for the first 20 to 30 minutes or so. After that they start macro-pixling all over the place. If i eject and start the movie all over again, it starts macro-pixling right away. It must be that the player is warming up and then not reading the info correctly. I've tried it on 2 different Apex 5131's and on a Daewoo 5700. Each dvd player had the same affect. My friend played the same movie on an Apex 600 and had no problems. I have tired CD-RW and "Lite Blue" CD-r's. I will be trying other colors of CD-R's.
Please help me figure this problem out. Is it the birtate? Is it the CD-R media? Or have I just gotten three bad DVD players in a row?
Thanks
