I downloaded a download with many parts and I joined them with HJSplit.
I obtained a file of 6 GB wiath an extension .sfv
How can I convert this file into "normal" files?

    Thank you and cheers.

A .sfv files purpose is to verify the integrity of all the files (Usually .rar) using a CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) check. It's generally just a list of numbers and not a large file. I think your file has the wrong extension on it. It more likely is a .rar file with that size. You may be able to extract the contents of it with 7zip or WinRAR. Or you might try changing the extension to .rar before trying to extract it.

Look here for more info: http://www.jtpfxp.net/nfosfvrar.htm

EDIT: I would have tried WinRAR before trying HJSplit. And if you are having that much trouble extracting the file, you might consider that it could be a 'fake file'. There's a lot of those on the net.

  5. hello guys,

I have bought a language set and I want to watch the videos on my tablet too.

The problem is: they encrypted the videos in sfv file extension and you can watch the videos only on 2 computers. To use the videos on other computers I must delete the activation of one and re activate bla bla bla.

But I want to rip the videos and watch them on my tablet during my business trips. This sfv extension does not allow to watch on a tablet too.

What I want is to convert these videos to FLV or AVI or MP4 format and watch on my tablet.

Can you help me with this?

you can reach me with my email too: same user name on gmail.

You could try a screen capture software like Open Broadcaster Software or something like replay video capture.
