I was using DVP624/37 to play DTS audo CD's. Works FANTASTIC!

DVP5992/37 will display complete file name, information and progress of the file payed, but there is no sound in speakers.

Please suggest, if there is a solution, if it is a setup error, or it is of that much stupid design...

It will only work if the player has it's own DTS decoder and is outputting 6 analogue channels to either and amplifier or directly to speakers, or is digital connected (optical or coax) to an amplifier that has a DTS decoder.

Also, DTS audio CD support is not mandatory AFAIK.

Does it play DTS audio from DVD videos ?
