    Hi there,

It seems like the whole world wants to go from m2ts to something else alas I want to go the other way.

Recently I purchased a Panasonic g10 plasma TV, it has the ability to play m2ts files in the exact format used by AVCHD SD writing camcorders.

Though I have found software to go from m2ts to other formats I have found nothing that creates the m2ts files and the specific file structure needed for the camcorder or the TV to play.

For the record I do not have a camcorder so I cannot even get the specific file format.

    Anyone solved this problem?

Anyone know a way to solve this problem?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Steven

I would try AVCHDCoder or D2MP, they convert directly to AVHCD.

Or use handbrake, xvid4psp and convert to h264 video with dolby audio in a mkv. Then use multiAVCHD to make an AVHCD from the mkv. Be sure to stay within the blu-ray/avhcd standard, www.videohelp.com/bd#tech

  3. The folder structure required is different for Panasonic Viera , than regular AVCHD on DVD5/9, but multiavchd has that option for SDHC

  6. Please check out this thread, it's dedicated to multiavchd and Viera TV's
    http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=146602

Also, check your multiavchd version. There is usually a new version every few days with very active development. IIRC, the last version broke a lot of things. You can talk directly to Dean or other users that have your same setup at Doom9
