  1. I have an mpeg2 movie that is in SVCD format and this is the information about it from MPEG Info " Mpeg 2 Program Stream File [Video/Audio]
    Muxrate : 1.99 Mbps
    Estimated Duration: 42:41.70s
    Aspect ratio 16/9 (large TV)
    Interlaced, chroma format: 4:2:0
    Video Format: NTSC
    Size [480 x 480] 29.97 fps 1.85 Mbps
    Audio : Mpeg 1 layer 2
    224 kbps 44100 Hz
    Stereo, No emphasis"

The problem I have is that when I play it, the audio is about 1/2 second off. Is there a way that I can correct this synch from the file that I have? If there is, I'm pretty sure that I have the tools necessary for this, but a listing of them would be great. Thanks.

  2. Would perhaps Final Cut Pro offer features that would allow you to adjust the audio track of your movie?

I have not worked with this software at all, but I get the impression that this it part of what it is designed to do.
