Im trying to save a video from my Canon HF20 that was recorded at 24mbs after i edited it and go to save in VideoStudio X2 Pro and click on AVCHD the max rate i can set it to is only 18000? If i go into setting and try to change it......it says i can't?
How do i get around this?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

You can't. VideoStudio X2 is quite consumer oriented and doesn't allow for user-changeable specs.
I just bought the Canon HF200 myself and am playing around with different packages. Seems Sony Vegas Pro 9 allows user-changeable specs (but not Movie Studio Plat Pro).
Try using an intermediate codec (cineform).
