    Hello guys,

I see a beautiful and colorful image / photo in INTERNET. So, I download the image from INTERNET then use it as a desktop wallpaper. But the image looks very poor - drained of color and very diffuse. What happened?

What do I do so the wall paper looks like the image I downloaded from INTERNET?

    thank you

Check your display settings and see what color depth it is set at - it probably is very low.

    EDIT:

Sorry - this is probably wrong because if you can see it on the internet properly, then your color depth should be OK.

Maybe the image is very small - so when you make it full screen, it does not look good.

You may find that it is because of the size difference between the photo and your desktop - try changing the layout to centered instead of stretch, or try resizing the photo using an editor with decent resizing algorithms - paint shop pro, photoshop to name but a few.
    If in doubt, Google it.
