  1. Hey all ,we just got an HDMI media player, and I've been transferring video files to it, but can't figure out how to get a thumbnail pic to appear on the player ( so my wfie and kids can recognize the film !) Most of my rips have been done with DVD shrink, and appear in a file as a series of NeroShowTime.Files8.vob files. If a copy a jpg of the film cover and drop it in the file with the vobs, it doesn't appear as a thumbnail...I'm sure it's something really basic I'm missing, but if someone could help, I'd really appreciate it !

How to make folders, & iso shortcut icons into coverart

    1. Right mouse click on the folder-choose properties

    2. Pick the tab "customize

    3. click button "change icon"

    4. Now you can navigate to any folder and change the folder to any coverart you have saved as a bitmap

Or click button "choose file" and select a jpeg from within the folder

I get mine in 80x80 from imdb (internet movie data base), they appear best as tiles

ps. you can also change iso shortcut icons to coverart bitmaps (what I do)

    1. Right mouse click on icon shortcut-choose properties

    2. click button "change icon", now you can navigate to any folder and pick coverart you have saved as a bitmap

Make a folder w/ all your movie ISO icons on the desktop, make your saved bitmap folder a "hidden folder" on the desktop, now you can export the 2 files where ever you need to and they will always link together (I am @ 500+)

If your talking about the Western Digital Media Player.... look here. I use this program to crop my image and to resize to 120x180 all in 1 shot.
