I have a Sony video camera where the firewire port on it quit working....actually I don't think it ever worked but it's way out of warranty now.
My only option to get video off of my digital 8 tapes is to hook up the composite (RCA) cable to our dvd recorder. I'd like the option of capturing video onto my computer. Are there any special cables or devices that hook into my composite RCA connection on my camera that would go into a firewire connection into my computer?
TIA,
John
