  1. Hello,

I have tried the three suffestions on this site for changing the regional code but have had not success. The screen bar that comes up is not "Invalid Key" it states ""DVD NOT READY" is there another way to break into this dvd and get the region changed?

    Really appreciate your help hackers!!

@Jason - do you ever actually read the posts you respond to ? How does AnyDVD help someone make their standalone DVD Player region free ?

@citizen007 - if you have tried all the hacks in the database then all you have left is google, or to rip and copy the DVD to a new disc in a region free state. However are you sure it is a region code issue, and not a format issue (i.e. PAL vs NTSC) ?

Hacks may not work because of hardware changes by the manufacturer during production. Also, we're getting some reports that some hacks only work on DVD players sold outside of region 1. It's getting very difficult these days to buy a DVD player in North America that can be made region free. Some manufacturers, like Samsung, aren't making any DVD players anywhere in the world that can be hacked. The reality is that you simply may not be able to ever change the region on this player.

"DVD NOT READY" is an odd message and like guns1inger suggests, it makes me also wonder if this is doing a very bad job of trying to tell you that it can't play a PAL DVD. Some DVD players sold in North America cannot play PAL at all so even if you could hack in such cases you would be limited to NTSC playback. Citizen is not a common brand in the USA (I'm not sure it's sold here at all), so for all I know it may have zero PAL support.
