Hi, Regarding a Music video, I have a good sound recording [WAV file] and which to replace the audio that comes with the Video and overlay the WAV file instead. How can this be done? Can I delete the audio that accompanies the video and impose or overlay the WAV file instead? This that the way to go about it, if so what software could I use? Any help with this is appreciated.

  2. You should be able to; What container format? (i.e. AVI, MOV, MKV etc...), What video & audio formats? If you don't know, use mediainfo

The video is AVI, and the audio is WAV [or MP3]. How would it be done?

  4. avimux-gui , just add the new audio, and you can keep the old audio or leave it out (checkmark to add in or uncheckmark to leave out)

You can also do it with vdub or avidemux, but avimux-gui is probably the easiest

Good luck matching the new audio up, I always find that it ends up wavering in and out of sync, it's not just a simple matter of stretching the new audio to match the length of the original audio. Let us know how you go.
