    Hi Guys,

I've been away from here for quite some time...it's nice to see a couple of familiar faces giving this a kick at the can.

One thing I would mention is to use a DV Camcorder or a Canopus ADVC Box you will need to add yourself as a user to the "disk" group. This will also work for FireWire Audio interfaces

To do this simply open a terminal, make yourself root with a "su" command and enter the following:

    adduser YOURUSERNAME disk

Just thought I'd pass that along because it can catch people who aren't used to Linux off guard.

Gmaq it's good to see you around. I'd try your distro but I'm still busy working on my own project right now. Glad to see you are still working with linux

    Freebird,

Thanks, how is your project these days. I still use it myself occasionally but haven't updated it in a while, I'd like to include it as well but with Wine involved it's one of those apps better installed later.
