  1. I've been playing films on my LG Blu Ray burner for about half a year now.

I've noticed that as newer and newer titles come out, more and more erros come up, but I can usually fix them up by updating AnyDVD HD.

But lately, I tried Max Payne (Region B) and it would not go past the menu.

I tried Slumdog Millionaire tonite, and the menu won't even come up.

Similar thing happened with some other new titles, the problems usually involving the stsrt up of the discs or problems with menu (buttons not coming up or staying on screen after I press play movie).

I updated from PowerDVD8 to 9, but still, same problem.

Anyone know what the issue could be?

Did Max Payne (Region B) work before in the same drive, same computer?

  5. Also, just tried playing Slumdog from an image rip of the disc. PowerDVD9 doesn't even recognize a disc being in the virtual drive, using Daemon.

  6. Finally, I decided to uninstall Daemon Tools and PowerDVD8.

Re-installed Daemon Pro Tools Advanced and PowerDVD8 with a new blu-ray update.

No image file will work at all.

Has anyone encountered anything like this at all???

You could post your question at the LG Forum at CDfreaks.com or AVS Forums.
