    I recently upgraded to the rc of windows 7 from vista ultimate and I am having a little trouble with 2 programs with alcohol 120 my virtual drives are gone and when it starts it says something about drivers cant load and tmpgenc xpress will not start. Does anyone know how to fix these problems?

    Are you running them as administrator(right click on the shortcut and choose run as administrator? or try run them in compatibily mode, right click on the shortcut and choose properties and under compatibility enable run this program in compatibility mode for and choose windows xp or windows vista.

    I have tried everything to get them to work since they don't seem to be completable with windows 7 does anyone know of another virtual drive or mount program and a video encoder that work with windows 7?

    video encoder? what exactly do you want to convert? Many free tools works fine for me, like handbrake, xvid4psp and mpeg streamclip.

    And try virtual clonedrive as virtual drive.

    edit: Yep, clonedrive works on my windows 7 rc.

    I wanted to take avi files and make them into dvd compliant files I could put into dvdlab and make dvds from.

  6. The release candidate is not meant for a production machine. It is still in evaluation status. You should wait until it goes RTM later this year. If you have another operating system, I suggest you use that for now.

    I always wonder the same thing
    This doesn't work, that doesn't work..Please help me get this (insert application) working under a BETA operating system.
