    I've downloaded Handbrake and tried to convert a wmv file. Everything seem fine, but the conversion stops in less than a second, and my chosen output file is essentially a shortcut, only 24kb in size.

    Does anyone ahve any general idea as to the problem?

    Is there an error log or message?

    Do you have a WMV decoder installed? (e.g. WMP11 installed) ?

    1. No, the O/S window pops up and disappears, I don't believe there is an error log (is there?)

    2. No I didn't. Will do and re-try.
