During the last live production I setup, I had a problem with the video from the projector being out of sync with the audio. It looked like there was a lag in the video and it couldn't quite keep up with the audio.

    Here's the setup:

-Two cameras connected to computer video switcher (tricaster) via s-video cables (100ft or more)
-S-video out of tricaster to Distribution Amp. that splits to two more s-video cables to lcx80 projectors
-Audio is sent through house sound system from stage mics.

The audio and video sync up fine in my live monitor, but when it is sent from my switcher to the projectors there is a delay in the video. Is there some type of equipment that will help to sync the audio or prevent the lag? Maybe a better DA or different cable?

I would appreciate any input. Thanks.

This happens very often. The most generally flexible fix is simply to delay the audio. I use VLC's handy delay adjust feature to make the sync perfect, no matter what the A/V setup is.
