    Im sure this is an easy question...

    Ive created a clkp on imovie and i need to burn this to a DVD to enable someone to watch it either on a windows based PC or normal DVD player. Ive exported using Quicktime to .mov format but i dod not realise that i cant play this on a normal DVD player.

    which format should i be using?

    If you have iMovie then you should also have iDVD. Load the iMovie project into iDVD and create a DVD. Or export the footage as DV, load this into iDVD and create a DVD.
