    Hi all, first post.

There's probably a simple answer for this one but I just can't find it. I'm new to the BD scene and am trying to burn a few 720p mkv (h.264) (audio is AC3 6 channel) files onto a BD-RE disc to play in my Pioneer BluRay player. At the moment this is what I've done:

Used tsMuxerGUI to create BluRay folders (CERTIFICATE and BDMV) from just 1 .mkv file. Then I used imgburn to burn to BD-RE in my LG drive. I tried playback on my Pioneer player and all looks fine though the audio is slightly out of sync.

    1) So, how can I correct this and at what stage?

    2) Also, I will be burning more than one .mkv file in future onto the BD-RE in future so do I perform the corrective procedure in exactly the same way as if I were just placing 1 .mkv file on the disc?

    3) And lastly, I used to author multiple standard AVI files to video-TS and audio_TS folders (ready for DVDShrink to create an ISO) using WinAVI. There was an option to keep the items separate rather than joining into 1 complete file. I assume I can do the same for what I propose with my .mkv's to BD??

    THanks

  2. Did you check playback on the PC first before burning? Was it already out of sync?

You can try multiavchd to put multiple titles on a disc, also some versions of tsmuxer have been known to cause problems.

Not all players will work, some are picky, some need specific media types, some need specific firmware revisions, some have special tweaks or settings that you need. You might be making a few coasters to figure out what works

Check Doom9 forum, as there is a big list of compatibility and issues for specifc player models (although it's mainly for BD5/9, there are a few threads that might have info specific to your model and BD25)

Tsmuxer has an option for audio delay. Hilight the audio track and enter the delay.

    Thanks for the replies.

The audio is in sync when I play the .mkv file through vlc player on the pc.

Megahurts, thanks I've located that option now. How do I know though how much to set the delay for? Is it pretty much just trial and error?

I used to use Tsmuxergui for authoring a few mkv at a time and found that it put the audio out of sync so i used the audio add/delay feature but that was a bit of a pain so i tried multiavchd and it works great plus puts up a menu with static thumbnails.

I've noticed a 400 ms delay puts it back in sync.

400ms wont correct all instances, some i had to put in 250ms after the second and 150ms after the 3rd mkv,it will vary.

TSmuxer?? It should be called TSdesyncer!

It takes a perfectly synced h.264 ts file and screws it up.

Use the program called TS Remux. It makes Blu-ray files and keeps everything in sync.
In fact I'm making a blu-ray file with TS Remux as I speak.
