using Windows Media Encoder to record screen

Hello everyone,

Is it easy to write some .Net code to record screen and audio (from computer mic), then output to an wmv file. Any reference code?

Hi Safesurfer, my question is not how to use WME to record screen, but how to program using WME SDK to record screen, I did not find any samples so far. Any recommended readings or samples?

Hi Safesurfer,

I have studied and tried the codeproject sample, but I got null pointer exception. My environment is, Windows Vista x64 + VSTS 2008. Here is my screen snapshot, any ideas what is wrong?
