  1. Hi, I just used WinFF to help me convert an.mt2s file into DVD.

I used the stock NTSC DVD HQ Widescreen preset with the only additional option of 2-pass.

It only did one pass and the resultant video appears to be in slow motion, maybe half speed or so.

I searched the WinFF forum but couldn't find an answer. Nothing on google either.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

PS anybody highly prefer a different program to accomplish the same thing (.mt2s to mpg)? I am starting to really regret buying this AVCHD Camcorder.

    Try instead xvid4psp or convertxtodvd.

But I think it's strange that avchd camcorders doesn't come with some editors that can export to dvd.

  3. Baldrick,

Canon HF-10 came with Pixela Imagemixer SE software,http://www.pixela.co.jp/oem/canon/e/, that is basically only good for moving the video over to the computer. It does burn a dvd-r but the quality is terrible.

I purchased convertxdvd without a trial first, lesson learned, and am very disappointed with the pixelation and shimmering of the resultant video even under the best quality setting.

The video quality of the WinFF conversion seemed superb, it was just running at about half speed or so.

I'll try xvid4psp. Thanks for the reply.
