    As you likely noticed, your question doesn't make any sense. A DVD5 is a Single Layer (SL) 4.3GB DVD. A DVD9 is a Dual Layer (DL) 8.2G DVD.

    No conversion is needed, it will fit with plenty of space to spare...you are just wasting money and DL discs.
