I just bought yesterday a Samsung Clp 310 laser printer. I have some issues, it almost alerts me every time that the paper is not inserted right, but actually I checked couple of times and the paper seems ok. Although the printer alerts me, it still prints after couple of seconds.

I saw this deal yesterday, Mother's Day week special, Minolta 1600W color laser for only $140 with free shipping. Not a bad deal at all. Konica-Minolta printers are respected for their color quality, and the prints always look stellar. If I even remotely needed a third printer, I'd probably buy this one myself.
At this exact moment, it says "Very few left In Stock! Order soon -- product may sell out."
I'm not surprised, these are great machines.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

1500 pages per toner cart ... yikes!
Samsung Ml 2010 does 3500 per toner cart and is why I purchased it ... good value for small business if needing only black print
My R230 Epson sits for 3 or more months ... upon reuse, 2 print head cleans and its perfect again -
1500 / 3500 means nothing.
it depends on the size of the toner and the prize.
also know that they're talking about 5% toner usage per page. thats text, not
graphics. -

In such cases, an inkjet is cheaper to purchase and so is the lower-capacity ink cartridge for "only buy what you need" purposes. But that was in the past: current inkjets are hopeless ink pigs that make even the most inefficient color lasers seem frugal. And better-designed color lasers like the Brothers have ultra-high-capacity toner carts that last forever, slashing the cost per page to nearly nothing.
(BTW the $149 Koni-Minolta color laser deal mentioned by LordSmurf is a steal: fantastic printers at that price, I've never seen them drop that low. A $149 Koni-Minolta is a far FAR better buy than a $149 color Samsung.) -
Based on this post, I replaced my HP 2600N with a Brother HL-4040CDN: one of the best things that I ever did.
Graphics are better, colors are better and it has automatic duplexing.

Be aware, Brother Laser printers require drum replacements for about every 3 -4 toners replacements.

Found this on Samsung web page:
Average Continuous Black Cartridge Yield : 1,500* standard pages (ships with 1,000 pages Starter Toner Cartridge) * Declared yield value in accordance with ISO/IEC 19798
What does that yield value tell me? Where can I see that document? -
