Is there any advantage of allowing peoples streaming your videos? I am just asking because I feel many peoples steaming my un-watermarked videos that uses a lot of my bandwidth, but then what is the point ?
Ps: sorry if this is a simple question... as I am really newbie .

The only advantage is for people to enjoy watching your video.

if there is nothing in return, i would not allow people streaming my videos unless they are watermarked

unfortunately most of the videos that I use are more than 10 mints which means i can not use youtube, I may think of other video hosts then

That is a good idea for videos less than 1 hr however most of my videos (legal movies) are over 2 hrs.

Ps. all my videos are of flv formats and currently I do allow people to get the direct flv paths and embed in to their websites and blogs ...etc , but I am thinking to disable this feature and allow people to watch the videos on my website only (any idea of a good way to do that with JW flash player. i.e to hide the direct path of flv files).

legal movies are free-to-broadcast tv shows (life educational and religion stuff).
Also may I have a bit more details on "script of sorts"...

Does watermarking your videos give anything in return? It is still the same bandwidth and cost, ROTFL

OP, simply "outsource" your streaming if it cost you too much and "give nothing in return".
As others said - youtube is perfectly free choice... and there few other that don't have 10min limit at all (but are "less known", which might be of no difference to you anyways, since they are most likely much more "known" than your own website you stream from )
