    Hi,

    I need to find out what 'native' codecs quicktime ships with.

    If one has a stock Windows with installed QT from Apple, and Mac (which already would have the QT player) what would be the A & V codecs that the QT players would support?

    It will vary according to the version of QT installed. Supported formats can be found on their website: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/player/specs.html
