Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a Firewire (IEEE 1394) compatible with a PC?
Or, more specifically, is there a Firewire (IEEE 1394) that has a USB port connection? Or, is there a device that I can connect the Firewire to in order to allow the Firewire to connect or fit into a USB port on a PC?
I have a Firewire that I have used a number of times on a Mac and there were no issues, mainly b/c Macs have a Firewire connection. However, my PC has no Firewire connections, only USB ports. I imagine there has got to be a way around this problem.
Any information provided on this topic will be much appreciated. Thank you.

What do you want to connect? Firewire can be used for DV camcorders, hard drives, audio and for networking.
Firewire to USB2 electronic adapters for specific uses exist but are not the preferred solution.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.
