    Hi,

    We shot a video using a webcam that records to a dvd. After we finished shooting, we finalized the dvd thinking i can edit it afterwards using Pinnacle. Now, I can't even open the video file using pinnacle! how do i edit the video? i need to delete some scenes and put some scenes together. please help, i dont know anything about video editing yet but i can quickly learn i hope. we need this video for our class assignment this friday!

  2. I would use DVDDecrypter in IFO mode and select Stream Processing to rip to your HDD,make sure you select no file splitting in Tools>Settings.If Pinnacle still will not accept the VOB file then use VOB2MPG.

    Hijacking someone else's thread is not the best way to get questions answered on this site. You should probably ask a moderator to start a new thread for you.

    Once a new thread is started, you need to provide more information. Assuming this is something you shot yourself, where is the HD file now, on your computer, on the camera's hard drive, etc.? What format is the video in now? The make and model of camera used to shoot the HD material may also be helpful to anyone trying to solve your problem.
