I want to get my Mkv files onto a dvd w/ the multiple audio and subtitle streams they have intact. I plan to author the DVD using DVD Architect 4.0b. I've searched the forums for hours and can't seem to find a way to easily convert these file into a a format that DVD Architect can use. As far as I can tell my only option seems to be stripping the audio and sub files from the mkv and then converting it all back into another format (mpeg I guess). Is this correct? Is there a better format to use? Any suggestions?
I appreciate the help.

If dvd architect supports mpeg2 dvd compliance streams without reconversion I would convert to it, using for example avstompeg or favc(choose to keep the video/audio files). You have to strip the subs manually, using mkvextractgui for example.

Alas! I figured I'd have to do that. Oh well, maybe one of these days someone will design a program that will convert mkv to mpeg2 w/ all the audio and subs. Thanks for the help. I'll post again if I run into any snags.
