HD mp4 encoding issues

hey there,

i have a mp4 file, 1hour long, about a gb big, that i downloaded of the internet. im trying to burn it to a cd with an authored dvd. the problem is no matter where i try to convert it, at around the same spot in the video, the conversion stops and freezes my computer, and i have to restart to get the comptuer working again.

I tried flix dvd convertor, adobes encore, and even tried adobes premiere to convert it to avi first. but it seems like no matter what i try to convert it to the computer will freeze when it gets to that certain spot.

DVD Flick or ConvertXtoDVD.

ANd if they fail it's probably corrupt, you can then try fix it by run it trough avidemux and make a new mp4 or convert to avi.

But this is not any ADVANCED conversion. Moving you.

oh sorry about the wrong forum.

anyways, i did try dvd flick, it failed.

i was also thinking about a corrupt avi, guess ill try out avi demux with it.

tried out avi demux, thing crashes as soon as i open the program, dont even get to see the GUI. anyways right now im trying out this program yamb, if that doesnt work, ill try out the convertx
