    now i'm sure that the tests were structured so as to show this software technology in the best possible light but it's impressive none the less. i wonder how fast a set up based purely on cpu, i.e. dual nehelam xeons or the like, it would take to match or beat a really fast dual core penryn, like an overclocked E8400 coupled to a leadtek.

  2. It's been reviewed over at Doom9 - horrible quality. Who cares how fast it is if it looks like sh!t . Maybe they'll get it right for the next generation, but this one is pretty much useless (except for stuff like ipod)

    There are a couple threads with benchmarks, cpu usage, graphs, screenshots, samples etc.. some of them are links to other reviews in Japanese

    Well that fits with what consumers want nowadays,some people would rather listen to low bitrate songs on their iPod and watch low res video on their cellphone.Who cares about quality as long as you can download it fast to your Apple iGadget.
