  1. Hi all,

I have an XMS 750 DVD player and ive been quite happy with it so far. The only problem I have is when I try to play SVCDs. When I do so the picture quality is perfect and smooth, but the audio often jumps, and gets quite annoying. I recall reading somewhere that it is something that said it only occurred with VBR SVCDs, which are really the only ones I would want to play.

Does anyone have any past experiences they wish to share regarding this problem?

    Thanks

  2. I have the same problem. There is nothing u can do about it. XMS-750 does not like SVCD (MPEG2) and MP3 encoded at VBR. What i have discovered recently that it likes MPEG1 XVCD encoded at VBR. Try selecting SVCD template, Unlock it and change it to mpeg1 leaving all the other settings as thay are. (Might work) If it does work it is going to be the same quality as SVCD.
