    Hello,

I have got a Sony DVP NS-700 DVD player at home (PAL). I just got a NTSC DVD movie and funnily, when I put it to the player, it just says "disk not playable". I tried to read the various postings in this forum but couldn't find a definitive answer to the question. Also I can't find adequate product information from Sony sites :(

If the player cannot play NTSC disk is there any reasonable way to convert it to PAL? The vobs can be ripped yes etc, but is there any simple way to change the frame rates et cetera and make it PAL version...

I also noticed, that the disk plays fine in my PC. Could it be a ifo/bup problem?

    Any help would be appreciated.

PS It is NOT a region problem, since the DVD player is region free and the dvd as well.

Short reply by myself. After trying and trying, I finally found the answer.

I recreated the IFO/BUP files, which didn't have any region information at all (hmm). Ifoedit did the trick, I just added all the regions to it :)

    Pehu
