    Okay...i have a question...

i have two dvd's of a movie...which i made iso files out of.

DVD A has a menu and everything, print is great except the subtitles are off...like 2min delay from the audio.
DVD B has great print and the subtitles are in sync with the audio, BUT no menu.

What i want to do is to somehow combine the two dvds: use the menu of dvd A but the video and subtitles of dvd b.

how do i do that? i have the VIDEO_TS files for DVD A and B on my desktop.

i also downloaded several programs which i thought would help: AVS Video Converter, VOB2MPG and SVCD2DVD.

In addition...would it just be easier to fix the subtitles of dvd A...if so...how?

    thanks.

  2. To replace the movie with funky subs with the movie with good subs, keeping the menu, get them both out of ISO form and into IFOs, BUPs, and VOBs. Open the one with the menu in VobBlanker. Highlight the movie so it appears in the lower screen and then highlight it in the lower screen. Hit the "Replace" button to the right, scroll to the VTS_01_0.IFO of the one with the good subs, give it an Output Folder, and Process.

You can do a similar thing using PGCEdit, and if the number of chapters in the 2 DVDs differs substantially PGCEdit might be the better bet.

Also, if the subtitles are off by the same amount all the way through you can shift them those 2 minutes using DVDSubEdit. Here's a guide:

    It's in Section 3.2.

VobBlanker or PgcEdit are definitely the way to go (VobBlanker is the less overwhelming of the two).

Anyway, here's a tutorial on editing the content of existing DVDs. The section on VobBlanker is probably most relevant to you:

    Best of luck!
