Is it just me, or does TMPGEnc not shut down Windows XP? I'm referring to when you batch encode, you check to shutdown when done. Under Win98 it would shutdown the whole pc, which was great because I could leave a long conversion running overnight and it would turn the pc off. But since I upgraded to WinXP, it just shuts tmp down but not Windows/pc. Is it just me?

I run WinXP and the latest version of TMPGEnc (2.52) and it shuts down Windows just fine.

Ok if anyone is still following this topic, I've figured it out. Under WinXP, if you only have one user setup, then Tmpgenc will shut your system down upon completion. But if you have multiple users setup like I did, it will exit Tmpgenc but doesn't shut the system down. I went down to 1 user and now it shuts down fine.
