Do you mean the audio sample size? Like in 16 bit, 48 KHz, stereo? The colorspace bits per pixel?
-
I think 48KHz is a frequency, it is not a sample size.
While researching on internet i have found that 512 is enough sample size of audio file. and if we divide the audio file size by 512, then resulting number will be the total number of chunks or peak signals in that audio file. And it is basically an audio sample size.
In case of video sample size:-
Similarly how can I calculate video sample size in video file?
lets says
720x496x4 = 1428480 or in hex 00cc1500
if this is the video sample size, but its not working on my side.?

No, a number like "16 bits" is the audio sample size. 48 KHz is the sampling rate. And stereo means two channels.

I have no idea what you mean by sample size. Do you have some links? Maybe you're asking about bitrate?
