I got these Oceans eleven and Monsters inc SVCDs in bin format with a cue file (the correct ones!) and have problems burning them. I tried Nero 5.5+ but after a succesful burn I can't read the disk at all. VCD help section mentions Nero sometimes gives problems, CDRWin and Fireburner not. But CDRwin burnt the first time upto 70% without problems and then quit on me. CD can be read (i see the 4 SVCD directories) but of course the movie not. Second time the CD was burnt completely but now i can't read the CD at all. So before i screw more cds, what am i doing wrong? I use 80 mins cds which should be fine since the entire SVCD is within 700MB. What settings in CDRWin should i use?

    Thanks a lot for answers,

  2. Nero can not burn bin/cue files (well it 'can' but there are often problems). I would try burning w/ CDRDAO, this is a comman line program so you might want to get a GUI for it: XDuplicator, VCDeasy or TSCV.

You can find CDRDAO and VCDEasy/TSCV at http://www.doom9.org (TSCV home is http://www.ttool.org). Do a goole search for Xduplicator.

Thanks for the suggestion, but what about CDRWin? It should also burn bin/cues correctly. Anyone with a suggestion?

And has anyone tried winiso to 'unpack' the bin and burn the MPG-2 file as SVCD with Nero? Should also work, right? Any experiences here?

Okay, I finally burnt some good SVCDs. i used CDRWin 4.0a with a serial instead of the cracked version. The cracked versions appear to be known for making coasters, which in my case was true. Anyway, the serial version gave no problems so far (i burnt 1 cd....). I just had to install some ASPI drivers from the CDRWin homepage cause CDRWin could not locate my ASPI manager.

Thanks all for suggestions/replies etc via this forum and through private messages.
