    just found out

    What is WV?

    WavPack is an open source lossless audio coding algorithm with floating point data support and optional lossy audio compression.
    so what should i use to convert from wav to wv ?

    FLAC is pretty much the standard form of lossless compression so not sure why one would want to fool around with anything else IF lossless compression is the goal.

    You could also try TTA, Shorten, ALAC, WMAL, APE, etc.

    having problem with command line with wavpack but manage to do it with
    foobar2000
