Hi all
My Dad has a HUMAX FOXSAT and SAMSUNG (720p/1080i - 768x1366) LCD TV - hes been using it fine on 720p for a while - just before he went away for a short break he used the V-FORMAT button to change it to 1080i to try it out and preferred it so left it on that - came back four days later and now only BBC-HD is on perfectly and all other channels seem out of focus... he says pressing the V-FORMAT button now doesnt bring it out of 1080i at all and he also says theres NO OPTIONS in the EPG MENU (settings) to change HDMI OUTPUT (576/720/1080) is this right?
can anyone help with this?
as he lives 350 miles away im unable to go around and look at it...
thanks

Just tried it on mine and I can step through settings with the V-Format button. I thought there was a somewhere in the menu where you could set it but I can't find it now. So I've just checked the book. It isn't, you set the HDMI output with the V-Format button. Maybe if he unplugs it from the mains for a few minutes it will reset itself.
