Hi can anyone here help me I am trying to burn a audio cd with an old version of Nero v6.6.0.3 yes I know its a very old version but its the only version what works with my cpu but when I try to copy over the .mp3 songs ready to burn I get the error below where can I get this from and where on windows or Nero do I place it

    Yes, it is a very old, unsupported version. That it is the only version that works with your CPU simply doesn't make any sense.

    Personally, I would ditch Nero altogether and look at something better. The CDBurnerXP instead.

    well I have used nero for at least 6 years now and never had a problem with it, until now I will re-install and see if that fix it

    EDIT: yes its fixed working fine now I just uninstalled it and re-installed all working fine now

    ImgBurn converts MP3 to cd-able files too.

    Natty, you're likely using the "Audio CD" preset, and Nero is looking for .wav files. Use the "Data CD" preset for burning .mp3 files, just like you would copy documents and photos to disc.

    With that said, there are some better alternatives to Nero, like those mentioned in the above posts.

    Burrrn or BurnAware work nicely, as does Imgburn (with a CUE file).....

  7. The reason is probably that the MP3 is not 16bit/44.1kHz,you can right-click on the file to see it's properties.
