    Hi,

I've found what I believe to be a bug in SUPER. I have tried emailing support@eRightSoft.com (twice), but the message is instantly returned with "Access not allowed". The forum on the company's website appears to be broken - it shows an animation saying "Please wait while the forum database is loading..", and this process does not complete.

So I am wondering, does anyone know how to get in touch with these people? Thanks in advance.

    Can you describe the bug?

I might be able to forward the bug report to erightsoft.

Here's the message I tried to email:

    Hello,

I would like to report a possible bug in Super(c).

    I am using: build.35 (Jan 5, 2009)

I have a bunch of .avi files which I wanted to convert to .mp4 in
order to play on my G1 'phone. Two of the files gave errors and I
could not encode them, although all the files are from the same
    source.

Super(c) has no problems playing the files, only encoding.

I noticed that the two files with problems had the longest names, so
I renamed them and the conversions worked.

Of the files that converted without problems, the longest name was 64
characters (including the ".avi" extension), 94 characters including
    the full path.

Of the two files that did not convert, the one with the shortest name
was 77 characters (including the ".avi" extension), 107 characters
    including the full path.

I wanted to narrow the problem down, so created some .avi files with
    names of 64 characters, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69 and 77. I was expecting
to get errors at some point, but they all encoded correctly,
including the file with the 77 character name that I had previously
had problems with. Is it possible that, within the software, the
buffer used for the filename grows gradually so, having seen a
filename of 69 characters, it can then process a file whose name is
    77 characters?

I made a fresh copy of the file with the 77 character name and tried
to encode it on it's own - I got an error, as before.

I hope you can make sense of the above. If you want any further
details then please let me know.
